Who we are
This website, hmbox.in, is operated by HM-BOX (Home Meal Box), which prepares and delivers home-style vegetarian meals. You can contact us on +91 98206 59149.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us:
- Enquiry forms (Contact and Bulk Orders): your name, mobile number, optional email address, your message, and for bulk orders the number of people, date, time, meal preference and delivery area.
- WhatsApp and phone orders: the details you share with us to place an order, such as your name, delivery address and meal preference.
When you submit a form we also store a one-way, scrambled code made from your IP address and your browser type. We use these only to prevent spam and repeated submissions. We cannot use this code to identify you.
Cookies and tracking
The website sets a single essential session cookie on pages that contain a form, so we can protect the form against misuse. It is deleted when you close your browser. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not use third-party tracking scripts.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and to confirm, prepare and deliver your order.
- To contact you about the order or enquiry you made.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Sharing
Your information is stored with our website hosting provider. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy. We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to respond to you and to manage any resulting order, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by calling or messaging us on +91 98206 59149.
Payments
This website does not take online payments and does not collect card or bank details.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
